By using the Arduino Board an introduction to the world of sensors and actuators was given. Generally sensors can be used to measure certain physical or chemical properties of our environment. With the help of the Arduino Board this data can be translated into the behaviour of connected actuators (light emitting diodes, servo motors, speakers etc.). Prepared hardware KITs (based on the SensorAktor-Shield) according to code examples were used to develop first experiments with the material. As a result simple reactive objects were designed and build as first prototypes.
