How do things touch us? Is it the beauty, the rarity or the aura of the artifact? What do we want to touch? The texture of the object? The shape of the object? The interactive screen? How much touch points are reasonable in the design of reactive and interactive exhibits regarding the different disciplines, perspectives, issues and technologies?
In only two weeks a group of international KISD students developed this concept and finally built the „Cabinet of Curiosities“ – a 360° experience in concerns of emotional, haptical and unexpected touch. The result was presented on the EXPOCASE as part of the Exponatec Cologne from the 20th to the 22th of November 2013.
